These listings were inspired to promote 60+ Exercise Classes at HNCC but now include other activities in the Highgate Newtown wider catchment area.
As at March 2020, most classes have been suspended due to the Corona Virus lockdown, but some are now being held ONLINE - see individual pages for further details of how to join these sessions NB Belinda's TAI CHI is now offered online on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays (twice) and Saturdays - for details go to the class description on Thursdays .

Over 60s Exercise Classes were mostly held in the People's Gospel Mission Hall and funded by HNCC until 2017, when we were informed that donations were needed. To make it affordable to those who are on low incomes, we evolved a system of self-funding, and a signing-in register for each class, with students contributing an anonymous amount of £1 to £5 in the box (aiming to average £3.50). The weekly donations were paid into the HNCC account, to help fund room rent and tutor fees. As the Bertram Street venue was closed for rebuilding, scheduled from 2019 to 2021, all the HNCC's activities were moved to other venues. Circle Dance and Pilates are still supported by HNCC and funded as above, Lishi Yoga is part of the Wellness Cafe, and ChiKung is independent and now open to all ages - all are still included in our flier - this may need updating - and watch this space for further developments.

The Art Workshops and the Under 5s sessions are alive and well, now at several different venues. Wood-4-All, is still at Bertram Street, while they refurbish a new venue nearby. If you want to know which activities are run under the auspices of HNCC, go to the official centre website:
